A. Competitive Examination Cell

The competitive Examination Cell Has been established in college to motivate students and provide support to them for all types Competitive Exams such as NET/SET, GMAT, Civil services, State Services, Banking Services.

Following Activities are arranged by the cell:

  1. NET/SET guidance workshops for PG students
  2. Lectures by eminent personalities for awareness about competitive exams.
  3. Lecture series for competitive examinations

Facilities:- One separate AC reading room for competitive examination, separate library section for competitive examinations.

B. Students Counselling

Career Counselling :-
    Career counselling programmes in PRMACS aim to provide assistance and advice to students to make them aware and better informed so that they can choose career options in their own future. Career counselling helps the students to realize their strengths and weaknesses by implanting self-awareness, decision making skills, planning skills, personality development etc. The department of psychology and Human Education Society jointly established a career counselling centre in 2011. Through this centre counselling services provided to the college students. For the same purpose number of standardized psychological tests administered to concern students. Give them proper counselling to different field of career by the experts.

Objectives:-

  • To promote career guidance & counselling through lectures by experts.
  • To organize programs for interview skills, personality development, communication skills, leadership skills. Counselling committee

Personal Counselling:-
   Career counselling as well as personal Counselling provided to the students and society. To personal counselling department organises two days counselling camp for the society and college students. Throughout the academic year number of students take benefits of counselling services.

C. Board of Students Development

Our college is located in semi urban area and it is observed that several of our rural students, especially the poor and the marginalized lack opportunities. It is to give them that cutting edge in a highly competitive and ruthless world, that our college has launched the Department of Student Welfare.
Our Department undertakes various activities for the benefit of the student which are economically backward, intelligent and meritorious but cannot afford higher education.

D. Soft Kill Development

Goal:- To develop "Professional English Communicative Competence"

Objectives:-

  • To acquaint the students with the different modes of Communication in the context of modern life.
  • To make them effective and efficient users of language.
  • To inscribe upon their minds, the importance and value of Communication in personality.
  • Development and career prospects.
  • To enhance their employment opportunities in communication based careers.

The course is designed to acquaint the students with the basic aspects of communication and help them to become effective communicators by using different modes of communication. "Teacher talk" may be used for clarification of basic ideas. However, keeping in mind the essentially practical nature of the course, the teachers should engage the students through various tasks, activities, projects and assignments, and offer them guidance about carrying them out effectively. Student involvement can also be enhanced through activities like oral presentations, writing exercises, vocabulary building exercises, role playing, mock interviews, etc. The teacher should play the role of a facilitator, monitor the student activities and provide feedback wherever necessary. The interaction among the students' needs to be encouraged for effective implementation of the course.
