Intellectual Property Rights Cell

Intellectual Property (IP) is a category of property that includes intangible creations of human intellect. It covers assets like inventions, designs, software, and other creative ideas. IPR is granted to creators and owners of works resulting from human intellectual creativity.

Prof. Ramkrishna More Arts, Commerce and Science College recognizes the importance of Intellectual Property Rights generated by its teachers and students. Established in June 2017, the IPR Cell supports and guides faculty and students in protecting their inventions and creations in alignment with Government of India policies.

Objectives
  • Promote academic freedom and safeguard the interests of faculty and students in creation and invention.
  • Provide support to commercialize intellectual property.
  • Assist in applying for patents.
