National Service Scheme (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It was launched in Gandhiji's Centenary year in 1969 to provide opportunities for students to participate in community service and nation-building activities.

Motto: Not Me, But You
Aim: To give young students hands-on experience in delivering community service and inculcate social welfare values.
