Main Objectives of OBC Cell

• Educate and empower OBC category students and staff to utilize Central and State Government schemes.
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate reservation policies of Central and State governments effectively.

Functions of the OBC Cell

• Inform OBC students about orders/circulars issued by the University, Government of India, and UGC.
• Circulate government and UGC circulars on scholarships, appointments, and promotions.
• Organize and monitor remedial coaching for OBC students, including minorities.
• Address grievances related to admissions, scholarships, recruitment, and promotions.
• Function as a Grievance Redressal Cell for OBC students and staff.
• Promote higher education among OBC students and staff.
• Exclusively handle OBC and minority-related work.
